Our Proposals

We are preparing a detailed planning application for up to 90 new homes on land south of Bordon Hill Farm, Evesham Road, Stratford-upon-Avon. The proposals are shaped by the site’s landscape, access, drainage, ecology and heritage considerations. Our aim is to set clear principles for a high-quality development that fits well with the character of the area.

The scheme will provide a mix of 1 to 4-bedroom homes with 35% affordable housing in accordance with current policy. The proposed layout allows for new green spaces, tree-lined streets and improved walking and cycling links so people can get to nearby bus stops, schools and services easily.

A landscape-led design will keep and strengthen existing hedgerows and trees, focus new homes on the lower slopes, and provide a planted drainage basin and play space. On land under the applicant’s control to the west, additional meadow, orchard and woodland planting will create a local Biodiversity Net Gain “bank” and new permissive paths with places to stop and enjoy views.

While the detailed design will follow at a later stage, new homes will take cues from local materials and traditional architectural forms. Sustainability will be central, with a fabric-first approach and the expectation of low-carbon technologies such as air source heat pumps and solar panels, alongside provision for electric vehicle charging.
